My name is Adam. I’m half Tunisian, half English, and I grew up around food that was flavourful, simple, and made with care.
Tunisia has always shaped me. The food, the pace, the culture. I’ve always felt a pull to share that feeling.
For me, food is only part of it. Fissa Fissa is about flavour, creativity, and the energy of a place I care deeply about.
In Tunisian Arabic, “Fissa Fissa” means “quickly, quickly”. It’s the kind of phrase you hear at food markets all the time.
I chose the name because it reflects how good food fits into everyday life. In Tunisia, some of the best food is simple, quick to enjoy, and full of flavour. That same idea sits behind Fissa Fissa.
Dates are naturally sweet and have been part of Tunisian food culture for generations. A great source of natural energy, without the need for added sugar.
I wanted to take an ingredient I grew up with and reimagine it in a way that felt exciting, giftable and memorable.
Simple ingredients. Balanced flavours. Nothing unnecessary.
